Hey man! Just found your channel. I'm putting a 1400sf green in my backyard right now. How did you know when the rootzone was compact enough? I'm wetting, rolling and grading at the moment and not sure how to tell when compact enough.

Would you recommend the same products for Buffalo Palmetto?

Would it be counter productive to put the bad plugs into holes instead of sand? Thanks

When I was watching foreign content ( more US) I always wonder why on the winter season they grass looks so brown and without any green color. Then I came to the conclusion (maybe wrong so correct me if im wrong) they put only one type of grass seed. I live in Poland and I can buy only mixed grass seed in every stores in neighborhood, and our lawns looks always green even in winter season more pale of course.

Totally respect your knowledge and effort and skill but personally I’m just so baffled by the desire to put this much effort into grass -

Hi, great work! The information you provided is incredibly valuable. I have a question regarding the application of granular fertilizer and over-seeding. In many videos, it's recommended to apply the granular fertilizer (and over-seeding if applicable) BEFORE spreading the top dressing. The idea is that having the fertilizer in direct contact with the grass encourages faster and better growth to push through the top dressing, and the cuts and holes from verticutting and core aeration provide pockets for the seeds to germinate under the top dressing. However, I noticed that you applied your fertilizer after spreading the top dressing. Could you share your thoughts on this approach? Best regards, Niels

Trust me when Ben speaks about bottles expanding. I had a bottle split down the seam last summer, product went everywhere!! I’ve since loosened off the lids a fraction to prevent this. Great products though, my lawn went from shit to the best in the street in 6mths….I highly recommended these products.

It would be cool to see a video of those grassy areas under all those tree on the other side of ur driveway. Maybe some help for people who struggle to grow grass under dense shade

Don ya Ben! It’s great to see how the lawns reacting to your dogs wee. Those lawn junkies who have pets can see how things can still flourish even though they have to do their business somewhere.. Do you have any recommendations for those who have bigger dogs that are leaving their lawns somewhat browner? Will a liquid fert regularly help with this? And what do you recommend? What’s the reason for the Kykuyu? I find it a very limited style of grass to curate especially with the yellowing throughout a season and how quickly it thatches. Are you going to do something a little different out the front this coming spring?

Its really crazy how well those fertilizers do. I recently put some down on a never before fertized area that had a lot of weeds and stuff (still has...). The grass is dark green like i never have seen before.
